Singing Lesson Success with FULL VOICE Workbooks

Are you looking for engaging and effective learning tools to support young singers in your lessons?

Our signature series is an inspiring step-by-step curriculum designed to develop confident, well-rounded musicians—through singing!

Trusted Tools for Confident Singing

The FULL VOICE Workbook Series is a four-level printed curriculum that blends essential musicianship skills with exercises that feel like play, not homework. Created by experienced voice educators Nikki Loney and Mim Adams who were frustrated by the lack of resources for their own students, the workbooks are thoroughly kid- and teacher-tested.

Whether you’re teaching beginners or developing more advanced singers, these workbooks help to:

✔️ Build strong foundational music reading skills

✔️ Develop rhythmic confidence

✔️ Strengthen sight-singing ability

✔️ Track measurable progress over time (parents LOVE this!)

✔️ Reduce lesson planning stress

For Our Australian Teachers

The FULL VOICE workbooks offered on this website use UK music terminology (minums and quavers). They are printed locally in Adelaide and shipped via Australia Post.

What Your Students Will Learn

Each workbook includes 56 pages of activities featuring 20 lessons and four graded review sections. They thoughtfully progress through solfège (using Moveable DO), rhythms, music theory, ear training, sight singing and performance activities.

All activities are designed to be completed during lessons with teacher guidance, not as homework.

Here’s a comparison to help you choose the right level for your students. The ages listed are only a guideline and placement is really based on readiness and experience. Teacher Tip: starting with an easier level reaps all the benefits of review, promoting early success and confidence.

Why Teachers Love Them

Teachers across the globe in private studios, classroom settings and community choirs have found that these workbooks complement voice lessons beautifully. Here’s how:

  • No more searching for music theory activities
  • No more loose (and lost!) paper chaos
  • Use them as engaging and educational warm-ups before repertoire
  • Mindfully pace the material to suit the student’s need
  • Deepen understanding by connecting workbook concepts to repertoire

❔How can I tell if these workbooks are right for my studio?

We want you to be sure our resources complement YOUR voice lessons! Download free sample pages to preview how the series works, the difference between levels, how the activities fit with your teaching approach, and most importantly, if your students enjoy them.

❔Are there accompaniment Tracks for the FULL VOICE Workbooks?

No, there are no songs and no audio tracks. The workbooks complement any repertoire genre.

❔Are they available digitally?

Each student needs their own workbook for writing (and stickers!). The workbooks are available as Kindle eBooks which cannot be written in but work well as a reference copy for teachers, or for screen sharing in online lessons while students work in their physical books.

Supplementary Material

We offer even more resources that are perfect for reinforcing the workbook concepts:

Sight Singing Superhero and Vocal Warm-Ups and Technical Exercises for Kids! offer colourful, one-page activities for students at every skill level. A favourite teacher go-to for quick, ready-to-use singing activities. Our Digital Download PDF books make it easy—just print and hand out the page you need.

Our three-level songbook series Songs and Studies for Kids! celebrates the child singer with play-based learning and vocal exploration. The activities in each level align with the concepts found in similar workbook levels, and the songs are crafted specially for young singers to enjoy.

Here at FULL VOICE Music we believe in joyful, engaging, and effective singing lessons for young beginners. Investing in the right tools doesn’t just boost student success, it levels up your whole teaching studio.
